During pregnancy, it measures the expectant mother’s weight and compares it to guidelines on ideal gain for the weeks of gestation, indicating if she falls within normal values. This data offers useful insights on whether adjustments to diet or lifestyle may be necessary.
Post-birth, the body scale continues monitoring the mother’s weight, assisting a healthy and gradual return to pre-pregnancy fitness. Meanwhile, it also begins to track the baby’s weight in comparison to the ideal growth standards.
